That’s why Dr. Hassan Abbas Helmy Foundation has contributed in different healthcare programs and initiatives that grants better healthcare services to the less fortunate in our society.
Dr. Hassan A.Helmy Foundation has led the renovation of “The Hadara University Hospital”, which was formally known as Nariman Hospital, to have a better free service for the people in need as it serves around 5 million people. The hospital has a huge capacity of 400 beds with three different departments; two departments for orthopedic surgery and one for the neurological and psychological.
The foundation takes pride in reconstructing a historical 100 year-old building, after working at only 10% of its capacity due to structural defects.
Alexandria University Hospital
One of the most recent proud accomplishments of Hassan A. Helmy Foundation was opening medical clinics in Alexandria University Hospital. Today, the clinics serve two million patients yearly from Alexandria and any nearby governorates. The foundation has also contributed in the development and preparations of hospitals like: El Mery Hospital, El Shatby Hospital, The Hospital Of (Alyoom Alwahed), Bkous Clinics, Al Hadara Hospital, Student’s Hospital Of Sporting, The Health Insurance In Borg El Arab Clinic, El Amereya Hospital And Borg El Arab Hospital.
Dr. Hassan Abbas Helmy Foundation has launched eight mobile clinics to identify all undetected patients across Egypt. They were fully committed to the Presidential National Screening Campaign (Egypt Free of Hepatitis C 2020) by focusing on the importance of awareness and reaching thousands of Egyptians every month.
The 8 mobile clinics became part of the presidential campaign, which had more than 3000 fixed clinics and 120 mobile clinics.
The result was Egypt celebrating with the Ministry of Health, 4,000,000 cured patients ending all Hepatitis C waiting lists, and 70,000,000 screened people.
HA foundation has also launched this initiative with the mission of improving the health & the quality of life of people at risk for Hepatitis C by providing accessible preventive health services, assisting people affected by Hepatitis C through planning and executing on-ground campaigns that provide awareness, prevention measures, screenings, treatment options and patient counseling with the help of university students and volunteers.
Our work for Ahmed Maher Hospital included Electrical Work, through which an “Auto Clave” unit was made in the sterilization lab, as well as all the finishing works, including roof insulation, and raising the efficiency of the basement and the first floor (suspended ceilings, floors and carvings). Moreover, we established the dialysis department with all its hemodialysis machines and equipment.
Our work for the Maternity Hospital included the installation of air conditioning systems, plumbing work, marble floors and wooden wall cladding. Furthermore, we took care of all the carpentry, finishing works and the suspended ceilings. And finally, we have established a royal maternity suite in the name of Lord Yashar.
We received the building as a concrete structure and then we carried out all the integrated finishing, landscaping works, plastering and carving works and sewage works until the handover stage. We installed suspended ceilings, and we refined the look of the building with luxurious marble and ceramic. The façade (exterior of the building) was also finalized from our side and we managed to put all the guidance signs in place.

And finally, we managed to establish a ward for the treatment of Viral Hepatitis right after the building was delivered.
We established and finalized the new building of the center as well as the warehouse building, starting from the finishing works to delivery stage. Our scope included plastering and carving works, sewage works, carpentry works and installation of suspended ceilings, and we eventually refined the look of the building with ceramic flooring.
Our scope of work for the Outpatient Clinics included finishing the whole building as well as delivering multiple departments specialized in Viral Hepatitis treatment. We carried out plastering and carving works, internal & external sewage works, alumetal works and carpentry works with all the electrical installations.
Aside from refining the look of the buildings with marble and ceramic flooring, we installed suspended ceilings and epoxy works were done for all the operation rooms.
And most importantly, we managed to establish a laundry in the basement along with two X-ray rooms in the ground floor to ease the patient’s experience in the hospital. We managed to deliver the building after fixing all the signboards and keeping each of the guidance signs in its right place.
We have established the metal chassis and executed all the finishing works (including the operation rooms) until the handover stage. Our scope included carrying out plastering and carving works, sewage works, carpentry works, medical gas works with all the electrical installations. And finally, we added a touch of luxury to the hospital with marble and ceramic flooring, installed suspended ceilings and we also took care of the maintenance and repair of elevators and ACs.
We took care of all the general maintenance works inside the hospital; including the carpentry, carving, glass and alumetal works.
Our work for El Miri Hospital included the installation of marble flooring and suspended ceilings, and handling all the plastering and carving works, carpentry and electrical works.
Starting from the foundation and concrete element, we’ve been assigned to establish a new building for the clinic and the intensive care unit. We handled the installation of suspended ceilings, marble, ceramic and epoxy flooring, and we successfully managed all the plastering and carving works, carpentry and electrical works.
A whole new revamp was done in the emergency department of the hospital, and we handled all the finishing works, including; the installation of suspended ceilings, marble & ceramic flooring, and also the installation of the laundry’s water pump. Moreover, we successfully managed all the plastering and carving works, carpentry and electrical works.
We took care of the general maintenance works and the maintenance of the electrical works inside the hospital; including the carpentry, carving, ceilings and alumetal works.
